Illumix, the steadily growing startup of integrated gaming and technology, has decided to shake things up and has announced the launch of Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery. It promises to offer players their favorite and absolute best animatronics on demand, breathing life into them in the real world.

As shared by the Founder and CEO of Illumix, Kirin Sinha, “Augmented Reality offers new ways for players to interact and engage with their favorite franchises by blending real-world environments, fictional characters, and innovative gameplay.

With Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery, we wanted to evolve beyond the traditional AR-optional geolocation gameplay and deliver a more meaningful AR experience by having AR as the core component of the game.”

For all those who are unfamiliar with the game, Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery is essentially Illumix’s take on location-based augmented reality gaming, quite similar to the phenomenon of Pokémon GO.

The technology and gaming company launched an early access title a few days ago, and now, the game is easily accessible for free download on both Google Play and the App Store. It is available for devices that are compatible with ARCore and ARKit. Users can also go for in-app purchases that start at $2.99 and top at $99.99.

Just like Pokémon GO, this AR game by Illumix overlays a map of the surroundings of the players with a virtual layer. This, in turn, allows players to track all the inbound robots.

Like Pokémon GO is about catching Pokemon, Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery is about tapping on robots when they are within the specified range.

Special Delivery can easily be regarded as one of the most powerful and unique AR games from the ones that exist today. It offers an unparalleled AR experience to the players.

Its virtual imagery and effects are quite spooky and bring all the characters to life in the real world. If you are intrigued by all you have heard, you can pre-register for Special delivery at http://www.fnafar.com.
