Problems With Amazon Smart Device Alexa

Amazon Alexa is the best selling virtual assistant smart device developed by Amazon with lots of features which lets you connect to music, control smart home, streaming podcasts, playing audio books, sports, traffic and many more just by using your voice. It is famous for its easy voice controllability. It was first used in Amazon echo, and Amazon Echo Dot smart speakers both developed by Amazon. It’s the best selling device by Amazon had developed and is in high in need for those several features it has. But unfortunately, several issues have been reported recently with this smart device Alexa.

Users reported that Alexa had got server issues and its connections were not stable and couldn’t log in while some other reported about working issues that it is not responding to their voice commands and suddenly turning off. They say it keeps ignoring the commands or get stuck for their voice commands.

These issues were reported for a short period in the morning by a few users initially, and the complaints got further with time. The voice commanded device ignoring the voice commands have led huge impact on the customer feedback for the best selling device and as well as for Amazon.

Amazon has even announced in January 2019 that they have sold over 100 million Alexa enabled devices. The customers were not able to understand the cause of these issues has led to the discussion about this issue through the internet over a short period. The problem was first reported in the UK and Europe and later on in the USA.

Amazon has come up with the explanation through a spokesperson that they had issues for a shorter period that impacted some of the Alexa customers and now it is operating normally. But they didn’t reveal the actual cause of the problem. It is assumed that the server issues have caused this problem since Alexa voice requests are sent to Amazon servers where the response are sent back to the users.

Anyway, the problem with the virtual assistant Alexa has now been solved that the customers are relieved and its working is also normal. No more fails have reported after fixing the problem. However, Amazon is not ready to reveal the cause of this issue.
