Vivo Communication Technology, the Chinese technology company, has joined the leagues of many others and has come up with its first-ever AR glasses for the masses. It announced their launch at the Mobile World Congress, Shanghai. These AR Glasses are expected to create quite a stir among users, and the prototype is being referred to as the Vivo AR Glasses.

The features of these AR glasses are pretty promising. They come with 6DoF tracking, two transparent displays and are quite lightweight as compared to the other AR headsets we see today. Apparently, the headset connects to a 5G smartphone of Vivo through a cable, although the smartphone hasn’t been revealed yet. However, we have heard it through the grapevine that all these aspects will be revealed in the coming week.

Other information such as the cost or details about its release has also not been shared yet. That said, the Vivo 5G smartphone is expected to be launched anywhere between July and September 2019. According to Vivo, the AR Glasses can be employed into five major applications in the present times, i.e., gaming, 5G theatre, office work, object recognition as well as facial recognition.

In this regard, the company also went on to post a promotional video of the augmented reality glasses where the users are shown playing some games using the device at a dinner table. The video is inspired and attracts our attention right from the word “go.” The Chinese smartphone maker also revealed its plans for launching the first-ever Super FlashCharge 120W of the industry.

The company claims that this supercharger will take a mere 5 minutes to charge a battery of 4000 mAh from 0-50%. In other words, it can help you charge your smartphone battery to 100% in just 13 minutes.

That said, the company is yet to share the devices that can be used with this all-new Super Flash Charge technology. In any case, the AR glasses look very promising, and as claimed by the technology company, users will be able to use them for a wide range of applications.
