Puma Partners With Fossil To Develop A New Smartwatch

We live in an era of smartwatches. While the earlier models of smartwatches could only perform the basic functions, the modern versions almost function like a smartphone. Though the digital era gives parents a hectic job in raising their children, the technology can sometimes even keep your children safe.

Smart watches, the newest trend in wearable technology are developed by some of the biggest brands in the industry. With that in mind, Puma – the popular sports brand is ready to make a leap by bringing a smartwatch into the market.

Puma has recently announced their partnership with Fossil Group. Together, they will be designing and manufacturing normal as well as new smartwatches with the common goal to get them to the market by the offset of 2019.

Fossil Group has been producing smartwatches earlier and is one of the best among the few manufacturers. But more information about the designs and features of the upcoming smartwatch is yet to be revealed. Nevertheless, Puma’s partnership is in great hands and they are prepping to come up with something far more extravagant by the end of 2019. As for Fossil Group, the pressure is high to come up with a more sport focused smartwatch.

Furthermore, it is equally exciting to see Puma entering the industry, considering the fact that big shots like Nike and Adidas have already partnered up with the brand Fitbit and Apple to try out fitness tech to be wound up around our wrists.

The expectations are that Puma will be coming up with a smartwatch that focuses more on running, and other sports activities if they follow the path left by the other brands. The partners have together informed that if the first iteration gets to be a success, the partnership that runs till 2028 will come up with more than one watch for the people.

People, especially techies are high on hope, though we wouldn’t see the first generation watch for at least eight months from now.
