Apple has announced open registrations for its all-new AR experience around the world. This art-based AR experience that the company is calling [AR]T will be offered at Apple Stores across the world.

These three new sessions comprise an in-store session, teaching the fundamentals of AR with Swift Playgrounds, an interactive walk packed with some inspiring works of contemporary artists as well as an AR art installation that will be accessible at all Apple Stores worldwide.

To begin with, Apple Stores in New York, Paris, London, San Francisco, Tokyo, and Hong Kong will host interactive [AR]T walks with the AR works of some premier contemporary artists across the world.

This interactive walk will display the works of Djurberg, Giorno, Cave, and other world-renowned artists to give the viewers a chance to appreciate true AR art in the stores across the globe. The in-store session will be 90 minutes long and will offer the attendees a session on the basics of AR using Swift Playground.

The attendees will also be able to use immersive sounds and whimsical objects to learn how to create augmented reality experiences.

The third introduction in the company’s [AR]T experience is an AR art installation. In this installation, using the [AR]T Viewer in the app store; users will be able to initiate the interactive “Amass” piece of artist Nick Cave. This will take the attendees on a journey to see and collect “Ikon Elements” as well as experience positive energy in the Apple Store.

The Senior Vice President of People + Retail at Apple, Deirdre O’Brien said on this new development, “Today at Apple offers a window into the creative arts made possible by our products and customers. We hope attendees are inspired by the incredible AR creations in the [AR]T Walk and in-store installation, and we can’t wait to see what our visitors learn to create in the [AR]T Lab.”

These new sessions begin on 10th August, free of charge on Apple Stores worldwide. In order to register, you can visit the website of Today at Apple.
