Second Edition of Famous VR Game Windlands 2 Announced

Oculus VR top developer Psytec Games announced the sequel to Windland. The satisfying and thrilling first edition made Windlands one of the most successful PSVR games. And you’ll feel relieved to know that  Windlands 2 holds true to its predecessor’s success. The new edition is not just some small patches and renewed publicity but completely new additions to the existing fun. The new Windlands is beefed up with multiplayer and an easy switch between the grappling hook and bow & arrows.

Pushsquare.com author’s got the first-hand experience of the game and the exciting feeling to co-op with other players and fighting against the serpent boss in the vast virtual world were like living another life of a warrior.

While the prequel of Windlands 2 was based on just solo, non-combat, puzzle solving, the new release is all about multiplayer co-op and titan bosses. So to fight the bosses in the games the developers had to add new features and weapons.

There are optional skill based Speed Runs and challenges with leaderboards to spice things up.

The controls of the parkour-based game are easy to learn but hard to master which makes one hooked to the game. The mechanics are great and it also has such a beautiful gameplay that anyone playing it would really grow fond of it.

The cinematic story of the game and the bearded NPC Tohir appearing while leveling up in the obstacle course make the player to progress through the journey fun. Now one can also bring along their mates to roam around this virtual world. All this new feature addition make the game feel like you are playing one of the games portrayed in animes or cartoons where the hero progresses through the virtual world.

If you have not played Windlands before, you may not fully appreciate soaring high through the sky that Windlands II made even more exhilarating.

The developers plan to release the game in September. They also plan it to release it for HTC Vive, PSVR but for now, it is scheduled to be released only on Oculus Rift.
