One among the standout features of the new iPhone X range is their neural processor that is packed with 6 cores to provide cutting edge augmented reality experience.

However, if history has taught us anything, it is that new technology, hardware or software, can topple down from the hype train if users don’t gravitate to it. So, if Apple wants to utilize its new AR technology, then software developers must bring forwards an array of apps and games that provide real use and value to the customer.

Hence, Apple was keen to show off their capabilities with the Galaga AR Multiplayer game created by Super Kaiju studios. The game has not hit the shelves yet as the release is slated for 2019. Galaga AR is an arcade game that uses the magic of AR to give their users a truly immersive experience.

If you are familiar with the classic Galaga Game, then you know how hard it will be for the developers to create something that provides the users with the same rush of excitement. However, it is safe to say that they have pulled it off and it already looks like a winner. The game is designed to allow 4-players to take part in a single match. Since the game is built using the upcoming ARKit 2.0, we can expect it to give really good visuals without compromising stability.

If you saw their presentation during the event, then you might have already understood that Apple is really invested in the AR/VR tech. the games look vibrant, and since it involves lasers and explosion, anybody who likes the traditional arcade experience is going to be a fan of the Galaga AR.

If you are hoping to create an AR game for Apple’s latest devices, its best to wait till the release of ARKit 2.0 that is slated for release later this year. The new software kit will definitely allow the developers to take advantage of Apple’s new hardware inclusions.
