The main objective of developing Android Things 1.0 is to help developers get the unified software option to work on constraint devices which include kiosks, smart displays, digital signage and many others.

But as per the news, the device makers didn’t make the changes in software updates of Things, especially where Google flashes the updates to all the devices that are using the software any time.

This will also increase the viability of the device, as users will get the updates on a regular basis. The updates will also help in providing latest patches and security related fixes to protect it against vulnerabilities.

Android Things is considered as a coding device application, which is available with functions like audio and video processing.  Soon, optional onboard machine learning will also be incorporated in the Things using TensorFlow – the open source software library by Google for machine learning.

Interested developers who might not make to the event can watch it live on the official Google’s Developers YouTube Channel.
